STEM in P3/4!
20th Mar 2025
Our P3/4 class has been diving into their WW2 topic 'Through the Eyes of the Child', and today’s focus was the Blitz. We explored why it happened and thought about how people kept their homes safe during blackouts.
Using flashlights, we tested different materials to see which would block out the light best. Our young historians went above and beyond! Instead of just predicting whether light would shine through, they considered why each material would have been useful during the war. Their insightful discussions and creative thinking made for a fab STEM lesson.
