Today in Primary 2 we received an important letter from Snowflake, our class elf telling us that Santa's keys had become frozen in a bucket of ice and she needed our help. We had to work as a team and figure out how to melt the ice as quick as possible and get those keys back to Snowflake. Our children came up with some super ideas about using a hair dryer or putting the block of ice beside a radiator but we decided that would create a mess on our floor. Instead we used different utensils to chip away at the ice, along with cups of warm water and table spoons of salt. Our children worked really well as a team to melt the ice and were delighted to get the keys out and give them back to Snowflake.
