P5 have started their new topic 'Commotion in the Ocean'. We investigated the effects of plastic pollution in the ocean by creating our own mini oceans and polluting them with bits of plastic, oil, cocoa powder and herbs. The water started off lovely, clean and blue but by the end it was a different story. We tried to reverse the damage but it was almost impossible to remove all of the pollution from the water.
