Numeracy week
P3 had a busy numeracy week, making, finding, measuring and weighing monsters. On Monday we used 2-d shapes to create our own monster and we made a tally chart of all the shapes we used. On Tuesday we measured the length of our monster, using cubes, lego, paper clips, crayons, felt tips and pegs. We weighed lots of monsters on Wednesday, using crayons, lego and cubes. We measured the length of these monsters on Thursday and discovered that the best way to measure things is by using a tape measure. On Friday we had a scavenger hunt. The monsters were all over the playground and we had to find them and name the 2-d shapes they had. It was good fun!
