Primary 2 received a letter telling them there had been a Giant spotted on the playground. When we went outside to the playground we saw lots of different sizes of footprints. We decided to go and measure them to work out which one belonged to the Giant from our story. We worked with a partner to measure the footprints using our own feet, we then looked at which footprint was the longest and which was the shortest. There were lots of fantastic mathematical talk from our Primary 2 children about comparing and ordering lengths.
