Hi everyone. As the current public health crisis deepens, many disadvantaged people in our society will find life more difficult than ever. Many low wage earners who are not on contracts, along with those on zero hour contracts, may now find themselves out of work and financially unable to make ends meet. As the supermarket shelves empty, less food is available to the homeless and disadvantaged through the supermarket's own food banks. We would like to do what we can to help to address the desperate need. On Wednesday we will begin to collect non-perishable items which we will take to local food banks. I would like to thank members of the PTFA for suggesting this.
