Principals' call to our politicians in the face of the current financial crisis.

Dear Parent/Guardian/Friend,
The Limavady Area Principals‘ Group held a meeting on Tuesday 12th February with local councillors and MLAs to discuss the financial crisis facing schools.
This meeting provided an opportunity for elected representatives to hear at first hand, the impact financial cuts are having on all schools and the need for urgent action to address the underfunding of the school system in Northern Ireland, compared to England, Scotland and Wales.
Following dis...cussions with elected representatives, letters have now been sent to all party leaders inviting them to attend a meeting with schools as soon as possible to outline their plans for addressing the concerns raised by schools. We will keep you updated with any developments.
